Bob Reed Family Fund

My name is Ray Sotkiewicz. I just learned of the passing of a flight simulator legend, and a dear friend of mine, Bob Reed. Bob and I go all the way back to 1997, (November 7th to be exact) We met on AOL, back when I had just purchased the EPIC ISA flight simulator interface. Bob was pivotal in helping me work with the system and introduced me to the broader flight simulation community.

 

Bob was larger than life and had a personality to match. Bob was one of the founding members of Cockpitbuilders.com. His passion for flight was unmatched. He was a trailblazer in the flight sim community.

 

Bob leaves behind a loving family, and his devoted wife Lori.

 

Bob was a catalyst for Cockpitbuilders.com. I sincerely hope we can come together and help out Bob's family in this time of grief.
