Aloha, please join me in supporting Bobbo and Alison Stanford after the devastating fire in Lahaina.
They evacuated their home on Lahainaluna and were forced to abandon their trucks when the roads were blocked. After a terrifying escape from the flames on foot, they made it to Bob's elderly mom where they were able to get her and her vehicle to safety before her house succumbed to the fire as well.
They are grateful to be alive, but they've lost their home, pet, vehicles, and their beautiful sailboat Mareva. The status of their shop and the extent of the damage is still unknown.
For those of us in the harbor community specifically, Lahaina could never have been what it was without these two. Their hard work and expertise have been invaluable among Lahaina boat owners, and so many of us owe so much to their dedication to always helping others. For myself, they've been my Ohana, and while they'd never ask for it on their own, I'd like to repay their generosity by helping them get through this now.
I have no doubt they will be essential in the efforts to rebuild Lahaina, so please consider supporting these two pillars of our community as they navigate the rough road ahead. With deep gratitude, mahalo nui loa!
