BOBBY BARBERS SMILE FUND
Donation protected
Me ( Georgia), Amelia, Lauren, Maggie, Aidan and Alicia are going to be doing a 10K charity run in July to raise money for the oncology ward (86) at Manchester children’s hospital in memory of my son, Bobby Barber who sadly lost his fight with cancer in September 2022 at only 2 years old. We are so proud of Bobby, he had fought with strength, bravery, resilience and ALL THE SMILES ❤️ now it’s time to make Bobby proud.
Ward 86 is extremely close to our hearts. A ward where children and their parents spend weeks and months on end fighting cancer, receiving intense invasive treatment to help prolong or save their lives. No child should have to fight this fight, it’s gruelling and painful, and as parents we shouldn’t have to see our babies go through this.
Childhood cancer IS NOT RARE. When ever we were admitted to hospital, we often struggled to get onto the oncology ward because it was simply full, full of children fighting cancer. It’s hard to believe but trust us when we say, it really isn’t rare!! We want to help the children and families that have to go through this tough journey, so we will be challenging our selfs to run for 10K to try and make their journeys a tiny bit brighter, our money will help the amazing ward, buy the children new exciting toys to play with, new experiences for them while they’re in hospital or help towards any new equipment the ward need.
Please please donate if you can, no matter how small, please help us, help those beautiful children along their tough journey.
Thank you so much x
