Hi everyone.
My father, Bobby Braden, was airlifted to Jersey Shore Medical Trauma Center on July 4, 2018. He was loading a disabled truck onto a flatbed, using a pick up truck. He got out of the pick up while it was partially on the ramp to secure the disabled truck, when suddenly the pick up popped out of gear causing him to be clipped under the truck and run over. His head and entire body were run over. He is still on the trauma unit and has a fractured skull, collapsed lungs, a bleeding ear drum and leaking brain fluid. Since then, his lungs have improved- thankfully. The nerves that control his face and many motor skills are located between his fractures. The main problem is his right eye, as the right side of his head sustained the most damage.
We are currently waiting for more tests.
As as many of you know, my dad is self employed. This accident will greatly change his life forever. He may never be able to return to doing what he loves-masonry and construction. Between having no income & the medical bills, finances will be a great concern for him & our family.
Thank you to everyone for the well wishes, prayers and good vibes. This was the scariest day of my life and I’m so thankful my dad is alive. He is strong and the power of a prayer is real. Our family & friends have been amazing and we cannot thank you all enough.
Xoxo Brandi
