In loving memory of Bobby Chung
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
This is a simple go fund me page for our brother Bob Chung who passed away on the 13th of July 2022. A proper funeral will cost approximately 30,000. All donations will be going towards Bobby’s funeral expenses as we would like to wish him the farewell that everyone deserves.
For those who knew Bobby, Bobby was energetic and positive; no matter how he was feeling that day, he would always smile at the people around him with his undeniable cheeky and outgoing personality. Even with what was brought upon Bobby at such a young age, he would not let what he went through alter who he was as a person, and we were blessed to call him our brother and share memories with him before he passed. For those that did not know Bobby, Bobby was raised in an environment where no child should be put in and was raised by his abusive and manipulative father since he was a baby. Bobby was fed lies that his mother had left him and his father when in fact, Bobby’s father was the one preventing him from having contact with his mother. Bobby was always mourning the love he never got from his mother and father, which is something that we all take for granted. Despite the circumstances he was surrounded with, he always showed love and compassion to his friends.
With his immediate family out of the picture, I have been authorised as a next of kin to arrange his funeral. Due to legal proceedings with who will be next of kin, it took significant time for Bobby’s funeral arrangements to be made, which we can finally do. Through these efforts, we would like to ask for anyone’s support through donations and attendance at the funeral.
The funeral date has not been selected yet, but the funeral would most likely be held at Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium. I urge anyone that knew him to come down to say their last farewell as he would have deeply appreciated the gesture.
In the end, tragically, Bobby ended up taking his own life, giving him and his friends no chance to say their last goodbyes and hugs. Although it did end this way, we’re hoping to show him, love, wish him farewell, and show that he is not alone.
His memories will live on forever. Fly high, Bobby.
