BOBBY - help with medical bills

Hi everyone,

Tesa's Rescue is urgently raising funds to help Bobby, a sweet and affectionate 8-year-old Bulldog with a heart as big as his cuddly personality. Bobby is the beloved companion of a kind lady who is currently facing financial hardships, making it impossible for her to afford the essential medical care he desperately needs. Bobby has always been her source of love and comfort, and despite her struggles, she has been doing everything she can to seek help for him. But now, Bobby urgently needs our support. ❤️

He has developed a painful growth on his back leg, which has burst and is leaking, likely causing significant discomfort. This growth must be removed as soon as possible to prevent further complications. Thanks to the incredible local vet clinics we work with, Bobby will be seeing a vet today (19.11.24) for a consultation and hopefully to schedule the surgery soon. While we are waiting on the official cost estimate, we’ve created this fundraiser to start gathering the funds needed and get the ball rolling. When we informed Bobby’s owner of the support she and Bobby will be receiving, she felt an enormous sense of relief - grateful and hopeful for her beloved companion’s recovery. ❤️

UPDATE 22.11.2024

Bobby the Bulldog recently attended a vet appointment to assess the tumour on his back leg which had unfortunately burst. The vet determined that the tumour is too large and complicated for them to remove, as it would require delicate surgery with no remaining skin to close the wound. Additionally they discovered a significant infection so Bobby was sent home with antibiotics and a soft collar to keep him comfortable. This heart breaking news has led to Bobby being referred to a specialist clinic in Guildford for further assessment. There, we’ll explore all possible options and receive a detailed prognosis for Bobby. His appointment is scheduled for 2nd of December. We’ve updated his fundraiser to reflect these recent costs.
