Bobby Sellers

Robert “Bobby” Dean Sellers, 53, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on January 17th, 2023.

Bobby was born on May 20th, 1970 in Omaha, Nebraska to Ken and Patty Sellers. After Bobby graduated from Westside High School in 1988, he went on to join the Navy. Where he served as an Aviation Machinist Mate Airman on the USNS Saturn and the USNS Concord. He was honorably discharged in the fall of 1998. Over the years he worked many different construction and sales jobs. For the last few years he worked as a salesman for Ion Solar Company in Virginia Beach.

Bobby was predeceased by his parents, and his brother Jeff Sellers. He is survived by his son Tristin Sellers (Hannah) of Virginia Beach, Va and his sister Tammi Sellers of Omaha, Nebraska, an extra special cousin Michelle Westhoff (Lee). In addition to his family he is survived by two very special friends Teri Rosso and Claudia Gilbert that became family to him over the many years of their friendship. His love for you all was immense.

He was a friend of many, so we want to give a special thank you to all of his “Sand Castle Friends”. One thing that he lived by and would want to be remembered by is that there are “No Bad Days at Chic’s Beach”.

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life behind his house 2532 Sea View Avenue, Virginia Beach Virginia on Wednesday, January 24th at 3pm. All are welcome.
