Bobby the dog

Last week Bobby the dog was tragically ran over by a car, in a hit and run incident on Glossop road. The driver disgracefully fled the scene, leaving Bobby in the road with multiple serious injuries, including broken legs, a broken pelvis and a torn bladder. Bobby is receiving fantastic care, but the severity of Bobby’s injuries require ongoing treatment and an operation, both of which are now beyond the costs covered by Bobby’s insurance.

We are therefore seeking to raise money for Bobby to get the care he needs, and return him home safely to his family. Bobby’s owner Jane Corrigan has recently lost her partner of 20 years, Martin, as well as losing her mother, both within a week of each other. Jane and Martin also only recently lost another of their dog’s, Amy, to cancer.

We are desperate for Bobby to make a full recovery, and provide some good news to a family who desperately need it, after facing such unthinkable tragedy in recent weeks
