Bobby's Journey

This page is being established so that friends and family can assist Bobby with the financial impact that his recent diagnosis of Testicular Cancer will bring. Bobby needs to focus on recovery and healing. The stress of finances can add to the burden of such a diagnosis. As he has given to others over his lifetime through health care, EMS and Fire, we hope to return the favor. Bobby is a fighter, he has always risen above his circumstances to do better for himself and everyone around him. Those that know Bobby realize what an incredible person he is.

The following is what Bobby put on his page just before surgery on Valentines Day.

"In an effort to keep everyone informed and keep the information as accurate as possible, I wanted to share a quick post about the late few days. I was admitted to Jefferson hospital yesterday after 24 hours of abdominal pain. Unfortunately we found out that I have a testicular mass and it is most likely cancer. This afternoon I will have surgery to remove the mass. Biopsies will follow and I will meet with oncology today or maybe tomorrow. I am surrounded by family and friends and I appreciate everyone's prayers and support. I will try to share more information as I get it but will also be taking some time to rest and recovery. Love you all!"

At this time we do not know exactly what this path will look like. We will know more over the next few days after an additional biopsy of a nodule in his left lung and more test results come in. We do know that Bobby needs us now more than ever. Anything you can do will be a blessing to Bobby. For that we Thank you.
