Bob Gough's Final Tour

Donation protected
Update:

It has been nearly 10 months, yet has felt like a blink, since our dear friend and teacher Bob Gough passed on. In these months we have found out more and more about the vast breadth of engagements Bob had around the world, often working in that kind of invisible light, not asking for credit or recognition, and giving in ways that we are still yet to fully understand and know. As he journeyed across the globe in life, so too is his journey continuing now. Funds raised to this point have enabled Bob to continue on his journey, with ceremonies and celebrations in both Rosebud and Hawaii, and provided scholarships for three Haskell students to participate in Rising Voices, continuing Bob's work and legacy.

Funds are still needed to help Bob continue his journey, to support costs for the services held in Rosebud and ceremonies that will be taking place with his family there. We ask that you consider providing any gift -- big or small -- in exchange for the gifts that Bob provided to us.

Bob's family appreciates everyone's love and encouragement.

Wopila. Mahalo. Thank you.

Original note:

To countless souls around this blue-green home of ours Bob was a teacher, a guiding force, a source of light to show us how to imagine the unimaginable, create the unthinkable, and do the impossible. Now is the time to honor the gifts he continues to provide by contributing to a celebration of his life.

Following Bob's wishes, funds raised will be used for a ceremony in Mission, South Dakota and to hold a Final Tour of celebrations in several communities around the country that Bob also called home.

Funds will also provide a scholarship for a Native student to go into the field of renewable energy. In this way, Bob himself will forever be renewable, as we continue his legacy, teachings, and the wisdom he instilled in so many of us.

A service in Mission, South Dakota is tentatively scheduled for Thursday
21 September 2017. Please contact his daughter, Lisa Colombe, at [phone redacted].

Bob's family appreciates everyone's love and encouragement.
