Bob's Campaign for Gamers Outreach Foundation
Tax deductible
For my 36th birthday (wow, I'm getting old), please consider a donation to Gamers Outreach Foundation. The cost of just one gaming cart (GO Kart) for these kids is upwards of $3500, so that's my goal. Gaming has done so much for me growing up and I know it'll do the same for these kids.
If we can raise $3500, then a cart will be donated to children so they can game in the hospital, where some of these kids are there during extended periods over weeks and months at a time. This is sometimes one of the only outlets they have and there's so few GO Karts available.
I did this last year for my 35th birthday and friends, family and colleagues throughout the esports and gaming space came through and we raised enough for one of these carts at Seattle Children's Hospital where children have been playing games every single day since it arrived in September. It's made a massive difference in the morale of these kids.
More information about Gamers Outreach Foundation: Gamers Outreach is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which provides recreation to children in hospitals through the power of video games and the gaming community. Hospitalization can often be a lonely, isolating, and scary experience for young people. We ease those burdens by providing equipment, technology, and software that help kids cope with long-term treatment.
