Bob’s Fight Against Melanoma - Stage 4 - Cancer

Many of you know that Bob has been battling 3B Melanoma since 2012.  Due to the treatments that Bob is currently taking, he has had to take a lot of time off work.  Therefore, you can imagine that his finances are now stretched beyond capacity.

Bob and his family always welcome prayers, visits, well wishes, but there is also the practical side that must be considered.  Bob has insurance but the out of pocket maximums are expensive and he has been paying on those since 2012.   Paying deductibles for another year is going to be very difficult while fighting this battle.  We are hoping to raise $40,000 and ALL proceeds raised will go directly to Bob to pay for his past, current and future deductibles, additional medical expenses, and medications.

Here is a little about Bob’s history.  In 2012, Bob was diagnosed with melanoma on his right arm.  Within four years it had spread to his colon and surgery was needed.  At this point his cancer was raised to stage 4.  Then, this last year, the melanoma was found in his brain.  Fighting cancer takes lots of time, money, medicine and research.

Before his original diagnosis, Bob was an avid runner and active member in the community participating in the LLS (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) – Team in Training.  Now, my hope is that we can give back to him.  Any donation amount would be appreciated.  Cancer does not discriminate and none of us know when or if our time will come.  If you can help my friend, Bob, it would mean so much to me too!!
