Bobsleigh World Championships Campaign

Hello!

My name is Melissa Lotholz, 2x Olympian in the sport of bobsleigh, joined by Alex Klein professional basketball player turned bobsleigh athlete. We're gearing up for the bobsleigh World Championships in Winterberg Germany February 17th - March 3rd and we need your help and support!

This season has brought some unprecedented challenges. Changes within our sport organization have led us to shoulder the responsibilities of planning, funding and executing our season - a rollercoaster of managing workouts, travel plans, and budgets, all while working to represent Team Canada with pride.

Thanks to the help of sponsors Kardia, Peace Hills Insurance, Fountain Tire, Stephani Motors, MNP, and Comfort Corner we have qualified for World Championships! However, we're facing a financial hurdle. The cost for just the World Championships alone is over $15 000.

Here's the breakdown:

Team Project Fees (room & board ): $ 2 050

Flights to & from Europe (with gear / equipment): $ 5 500

Sled Rental: $ 3 500

Sled Transport: $ 2 000

Vehicle Rental: $ 2 200
