WW II Veteran Conversion Van Fund
Donation protected
Meet our dad, grand and great, Robert (Bob) G. Balnicky. He served his country as an enlisted serviceman in the Navy, his community through active service in the Civil Air Patrol for many years and his Faith as pastor and chaplain. Bob served his country during WWII in the South Pacific where he was the acting chaplain in Pelielu. He later pastored numerous churches across the south. In New Orleans he not only pastored a small congregation in the Ninth Ward, but was a chaplain for the New Orleans Fire Department.
In the last few years Bob's mobility has declined and after several surgeries, with less than sucessful outcomes, is now paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair.
Annette, his wife and retired Naval Officer, attends patiently and lovingly to his every need. This has taken a very heavy toll on her physical well being.
We are asking you, his family , friends and future friends for your financial help in securing a wheelchair- accessed van that will lessen Annette's physical load and provide Bob with the freedom he craves to be the young 93 year old he is.
