Bock Family Emergency Fund for Accident Recovery

Donation protected
As some may know and some may not, my niece Haley’s husband, Ryan, was in a horrific motorcycle accident the evening of May 21st, 2023. Ryan took his father’s motorcycle out for a nice ride on Sunday to enjoy the weather and some time outdoors. He was traveling from Elkins on his way home when the accident took place.

He is currently in the SICU at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Although they live quite a distance away, he will remain there until his medical plan is finished. His injuries are pretty severe, and he will undergo multiple surgeries to repair them. Ryan has broken his tailbone in 2 places and has had a pin put in to keep it together. He has also broken his wrist, his pelvis, and has torn his bladder. He will have surgeries on all 3 of these injuries, as well. The doctor has informed them that Ryan will have to endure extensive physical therapy and more than likely have to learn how to walk all over again. Ryan works for a local energy company where movement is essential, so unfortunately he will be unable to work for some time.

Haley and Ryan have 3 small boys to raise and take care of, and I know raising children is no small feat. They recently decided to let Haley leave her full-time position and become a Stay-at-home Mom full time instead so she could focus on the boys and their home. She will be homeschooling 2 of them this coming fall for the first time and is quite nervous about it, but she so very strong willed and intelligent, I’m sure she really doesn’t have much to worry about. Haley is an active member of the Covenant Family Church in Hepzibah, WV and is a true believer in God and all of his blessings. Those blessings come in all different shapes and sizes and I’m hoping to confirm her belief and show that even in the darkest of times, God hears you.

I know that leaving her job, and being home full time can definitely be stressful in itself, but with traveling back and forth to the hospital, managing her husband’s recovery, him not being able to work for some time, raising 3 small children, managing monthly bills and now stacking medical bills on top of that, I can not imagine all of the emotions she is carrying right now. I would love to just alleviate a minuscule amount of stress and burden off of her so she can continue to focus on the boys and help Ryan get back to normal. With having to travel back and forth from almost Wyatt to Morgantown daily, to paying for medical bills and medical equipment he will need, they could really use our help in getting them back up and on their feet. Anything helps and if you can’t donate, please simply share because it takes a village. A very big village, and we know that if it was one in our own family, we’d spread the word as far as it could go. We really appreciate every single one of you that even at the least took time to read this and share ♥️
