Bodevan's Medical Bills

Hi friends, friends of friends, and family, and friends of family,

Chloe, Harper, Bodevan, and I are seeking financial support for Bodie's medical bills. At this point, we will have an additional deficit of $8,000 in medical expenses remaining from his birth, the LifeFlight to Eugene, the extended hospitalization in the NICU, and his abdominal surgery. We have had lots of people reach out for how they can help, and we vulnerably admit that the finances are starting to become a looming reality that we were not prepared for. Due to the circumstances, our income has significantly dropped for March, April, and May, as I have been on a decreased pay from work while on leave, and we put a pause on most of the business for our Airbnb. We've already had 1 trip to the ER since being home, and have some additional testing in the next weeks/months. It would be the biggest gift to us to receive some help, as we get our feet back under us, and continue to give our fullest attention and energy to caring for Bodevan and his journey with Hirschsprung's Disease.

Overall, Bodevan's health/growth seems to be improving, with some days certainly being more challenging than others. He's starting to improve his feeding/stooling patterns, and we are learning more and more about how to best care for his unique needs. He's the sweetest little guy that loves being cuddled, sucking on his pacifier, and has the cutest smiles while he's napping.
