Boer Family

Rob Boer and his family have been managing his brain cancer diagnosis for sixteen years. Over the past two months, Rob has experienced some new and worsening symptoms of imbalance, confusion, and an inability to communicate. This week he was admitted to Mission Hospital in Asheville through the emergency department to try to find answers to his mysterious decline. His wife, Keri, and daughter, Emily, are doing their best to care for him as Emily starts her final semester of high school. As medical expenses are mounting, some major car repairs are needed, as well as funds for food and gas on the go with daily trips to the hospital. Many have asked how they can help and meals are already pouring in with the next number of weeks covered. Therefore, we are asking that you consider donating the amount you might spend on preparing a meal for them. Please help as you are able.
Update from Keri 1/14/22:
"We are humbled and grateful beyond words for the outpouring of support from so many. We have decided to expand our fund because it looks like Rob will continue to be in the hospital for a while and then will need to be in intense therapy at an inpatient facility."
