Boher Community Development Group is now launching Project B!
Having delivered a €165k project to refurbish our community sensory garden and playground and construct a geodome community hub, we are now seeking your support with the next stage of our amenity.
Project B - with works due to start in Summer 2022, will deliver a Multi Use Games Amenity that will include a 55m x 40m all weather pitch with fencing, netting and a perimeter walking path. This facility will be made available to the Boher, Ballina and surrounding communities and clubs.
We have already secured Sports Capital funding and private philanthropy support but at this moment in time a shortfall of €70k remains.
All avenues to secure funding for this shortfall are currently being pursued including grant applications and more fundraising events. Every cent contributed to the pot is a step closer to our goal of a fully inclusive sports and social amenity for everyone in our community.
