Boiler Replacement for Canarsie Full Gospel
Tax deductible
Hi, I'm Lillian and I serve with Pastor Ken on the ministry team at Canarsie Full Gospel Chapel. Recently our aging boiler failed, necessitating immediate replacement in order to heat our sanctuary as well as the parsonage this winter.
Since 1942, our Chapel has been a beacon of hope, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and uplifting our neighbors through Worship and Prayer services, Children's Ministry, Bible Classes, Evangelism, and World Missions. The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on our vibrant community, leading to a significant decline in membership and financial resources. We need your partnership to replace our defunct boiler system before the upcoming winter, ensuring that our historical church continues to serve the community with warmth and comfort, and in an energy-efficient manner.
We anticipate a total project cost of $40,000 for:
- boiler purchase and installation
- removal and disposal of old boiler
- necessary infrastructure upgrades
Our history encompasses spiritual revival, cultural outreach, and community engagement. With your support, we can ensure that our doors remain open to offer practical help to those in need, youth mentoring, and cultural events that bridge diverse groups.
Thank you for generously considering helping us with this project! Yes, it is a daunting task, but we can do this together. We are grateful for your support in any amount!
"The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed." Proverbs 11:25 NLT
