Boilermaker 2024 Charity Bibs For Hospice

Hospice & Palliative Care is dedicated to helping those with end-stage illnesses. From cancer care to dementia care, our staff has served clients with a wide variety of illnesses since 1977. Today, we serve patients from newborns to over 100 years old with quality, compassionate end-of-life care including bereavement services in Oneida, Herkimer and Eastern Madison Counties.

This year we are proud to say that we are part of the Charity Bib Program for the 2024 Boilermaker that will take place on: July 14th 2024.

Our team this year is comprised of employees and friends and family members of Hospice.

"I have relied on running to help me process the loss of many loved ones, some of whom received Hospice Care at the end of their lives- my family and I are so grateful for those services and always will be. Also, HPCI is a new beginning for me, professionally, and this will be my first ever Boilermaker, so I can’t imagine a better event to celebrate embarking on this new professional journey!"

"My name is Beverly. I have not run in years, but I decided to start running again and to run under Hospice. I believe whole heartedly in the services they provide. My father had end stage cardiac disease and he lived out his last days at The Siegenthaler Center. He appreciated and enjoyed all of the staff and had great care given to him. I believe in Hospice's mission. Shortly after his passing I went and worked at Hospice as a Homecare LPN. I was able to assist many families. I also was able to assist in the care of my father-in-law, an aunt, and others. I believe in Hospice and what they do. I wish to pay it forward and raise funds to help them continue their community support.
