Bollinger Family Needs Your Help
Donation protected
Hi All,
My friend Nick Bollinger was seriously injured by a large wave while on vacation in Hawaii. Nick's injuries include a dislocated hip and shattered pelvis. He is facing a long recovery and an extended, unexpected, stay in the hospital 3,000 miles from home.
It will be approximately 7-10 days before he will be able to fly home for continued care. He is with family, but as bad as an unexpected medical emergency is, it is compounded by not being physically close to an extended support system.
There is no one to bring meals for the family, stay with the kids, and help ease the burden of the small but important details of keeping family life moving.
Without being able to be there to help in person I thought others might want the same opportunity I do to provide assistance to a friend and his family. To help offset the cost of meals, hotels, travel, or whatever the Bollinger's need to ease some of the strain until his wife Amber can get Nick and their girls home.
Money can sometimes feel like the lazy or thoughtless way to provide assistance to a friend in need, but I cannot think of a better way to help that will provide immediate aid. Please consider helping out a friend and his family.
Kyle
