Bolyard Family

Hi, My name is Angela. Jessica Bolyards sister.
I am writing this today with a heavy heart. As many of you know, my sister Jessica, Kyle and Riley have had to live out a nightmare. They were able to succeed at building a successful business from the ground up by themselves and they worked hard. However, everything around them crashed down and meant nothing when Brayden was murdered. The shock, pain, depression, anger and hopelessness settled in. Relationships, business, money and health all took a backseat to grief. Everyday the most simple of tasks were excruciating for them. Anything that previously existed as a small managable problem or feeling instantly became huge. I know they tried and some days were ok but most days they have been in survival mode. Neither of them have had to ask for help in their adult lives. They normally arent the type to give up which is why I believe it took so long for them to see what a challenging and bleak financial situation they were in. Im sure trying to run a business through this was too much and they froze unable to even think about handling one more thing.
Having to come forward was a difficult and humbling realization for them and it was not made lightly. They know they lost touch with alot of people, even family, because they never knew what to say and hearing "im sorry" and "how can I help" started to hurt because to them the only way to help was to bring B back. So isolation started and that's never good for anyone.
I decided to reach out and try to find even the smallest of ways we can help lighten the burden they face. I understand that asking for financial help is not an easy thing for anyone to do. I truly feel like everyone needs help at one time or another.
If you have the means to give grocery gift cards, Amazon gift cards, Home Depot or Lowes gift cards for business items that may be needed it would go a long way. Maybe drop off a meal or make a donation. Anything helps.
Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers that have been extended to our whole family. It's been comforting.
