Hockey Trip to Bolzano, Italy

My name is Jordyn Ertel and I have been fortunate enough to have been chosen for the Draftday Hockey team. I will be playing in a hockey tournament in Bolzano, Italy where I will be doing educational tours, meeting and making new friends from all over the world while representing my community. I am very grateful for this opportunity. With this good fortune I want to do some good and give back to something and help others.
I have chosen the number 23 to wear at this tournament. I want to help raise money for my dad's friend's memorial fund.....a friend to many people in the hockey world, John Spoltore. My goal is to raise my own money to pay for my trip to Italy. My dad wants me to understand a good work ethic and to understand that I will be more grateful for this trip if I do this on my own versus it being handed to me.
I am asking for a $23 dollar donation to help fund my trip. For each $23 dollar donation I will give 10% to the John Spoltore 'Team 23' Memorial Fund. Also when I am over in Italy for every goal or assist I get I will personally donate $23 to John's fund. Every win my team gets I will donate $2.30 to John's fund and if we are fortunate enough to win it all I will donate $230 to John's fund.
My dad has told me about the great friends and memories hockey can give you and he has some of his best with his friend John. I want to help John's Memorial Fund out and show that I don't want to just take things in life but I want to give back as well.
