Bond Conant International Kitten of Mystery

Hello everyone. This is very unlike me and I’m definitely out of my comfort zone but my therapist says I need to learn it’s ok to ask for help.

On Monday Bond went to the vet and and was diagnosed with FIP( feline infectious peritonitis). It’s basically a death sentence and is always fatal. Through FIP warriors we have been connected with anti viral medication to help fight this. It’s not 100% guaranteed but the results have been promising in the recipients. It is not FDA approved and therefore very expensive. Treatment is one dose daily, weight based, for 84 days. Right now one vial will provide 3.75 doses based on his current weight. Each vial is $80. I just ordered 5 vials plus his vet bills and I’m $1000 in the hole. I’m asking for help because I believe this medication will work. He’s only 5 months old and is truly loved by the entire house. Also, Vesper will need to be tested for FIP since she is his sibling. Praying she is negative.

If you can help that would be amazing. I know everyone is struggling and it may seem silly to be so worried about a cat. Bond and Vesper are more than that. They are family and we love them.
