Bone Marrow Transplant for Anthony Trujillo

A few months ago, our daddy, Anthony Trujillo, was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer. After several weeks of uncertainty and anticipation, we received the wonderful news that he is a candidate for a bone marrow transplant. Our uncle Leon, his brother, was found to be the best match and has graciously accepted the role of his donor.

The transplant and recovery will be in Denver and we are very happy with his doctor and care team. The transplant will take place on February 7, 2023, so please light candles and say extra prayers for our daddy that day.

The recovery from the transplant will take roughly 100 days, all of which will be spent in Denver in a sterile living environment. Thankfully, they are allowing one of his daughters to be with him during this time as his caregiver.

We are reaching out to friends and family to ask for your loving support. We have not yet met with a financial consultant regarding expenses, but we are already brainstorming ways to pay for living costs in Denver when he leaves the hospital, travel, hotel, medicine, and anything else that he may need during this time.
