Bonnie Sue Childress Funeral Fund
Donation protected
My sister, Bonnie, passed away on Mothers Day after a courageous fight with cancer and her family is asking for help with her final preparation on this earth. Your help, no matter how small would greatly be appreciated. In lieu of flowers, cards, balloons please help out my mom and help give her some peace of mind that her only daughter will have dignity after her death.
Yesterday my mom and Richard met with the funeral home to discuss what had not been planned for. The cost for simple cremation and 3 Death Certificates came out to be more bad news. $2,280.00. This amount is not for any ceremony, urns or extras. We are hoping to raise $2,500.00 to cover the additional cost in fees that crowdfunding costs.
If you had met, talked with or followed Bonnie over the last year you know she was nothing but convinced that she was going to win this battle. I know every time I spoke to her she was always positive and truly optimistic. Her husband also not believing she was going to leave us either.
A month ago due to life's struggles and this added burden of Cancer, Bonnie and Richard had to move back in with my mom, Phyllis. There isn't any life insurance or savings to cover this expense, so if you can, please help. All collections will be payable to Phyllis Gaskins and any overage will go to the American Cancer Society.
