Bonnie took a tumble and needs emergency surgery

Hi everyone, this is my first time doing something like this and I would not be asking if it were for me. Meet Bonnie, my beautifully affectionate and lovable 6-month old puppy who has filled my world with joy and goofiness.

Last night Bonnie got a little confused and fell off a second-story loft. We thought we had lost her forever, but she’s a very strong and brave girl.

Fortunately, we got her to the emergency hospital in time. They were able to keep her stable and minimize her pain while we did x-rays and figured out how to fix her. She has several fractures in her growth plate on her back leg, and the doctors are worried that if we don’t do immediate surgery, she may lose her leg. Vet bills are accruing, and we are looking at approximately $7680 in total costs ($1880 for her hospital bills so far and $5800 for the surgery). The orthopedic surgeon said they could get her in early this Thursday.

I am definitely going to go through with the surgery because I want to give Bonbon the best possible shot at a long, happy, and healthy life.
