Bonnie’s Breast Cancer Treatment

Hello, my name is Audrie, I am creating this fundraiser, along with my siblings and parents, to help our sister and her family as she undergoes a second surgery. After the surgery she will be unable to work for 6 weeks. Bonnie was diagnosed with breast cancer last May and it turned her world (and ours) upside down. Watching our sister walk through the last year has been one of the most heartbreaking experiences we have faced. A year later, and Bonnie is facing yet another surgery, with one more after this. Anyone that has had the privilege of knowing our sister knows just how incredibly special she is. Bonnie is a devoted wife to KC and mother to their 12 year old son Elias and two year old daughter Nova. Bonnie has worked as an RN at BJC since she graduated nursing school in 2011. She has dedicated her life to helping others, not only her patients but her employees as well. Bonnie leads by example in all areas of her life by treating everyone with kindness and respect. You’ll never meet a more loving, hard-working individual than Bonnie. When we were growing up, Bonnie was always our fiercest protector. We knew if we needed anything from advice to a shoulder to cry on she would be there with open arms ready to help us in anyway she could. As we have grown into adults that has only become more true. The bond we have formed as siblings is unlike anything else. When one of us is hurting, we are all hurting. Today, our sister is hurting and we want to help alleviate that pain whether it be physical, emotional, and/or financial. That’s where you wonderful people come in. If Bonnie has touched your life in someway over the last 40 years, today is the day you can thank her.
