BookPeople Employee Fund

We proudly work at BookPeople, a beloved staple of Austin, the largest independent bookstore and one of the few unionized retail stores in Texas, and one of the top bookstores in the US! This year BookPeople celebrates 50 years of providing our community with top notch booksellers giving a customer service experience that brings people back again and again, not to mention so many wonderful author events, amazing children’s events, and heaps of community involvement!  BookPeople, like so many businesses, had to furlough most of us in light of the recent global crisis. We, the employees of BookPeople, all long for the day when we can go back to work, open the double doors, and welcome the public in once more, but until then, we need your help. Please consider donating to our employee fund, if you are able, and share our campaign!  The funds will be fully distributed between BookPeople employees in need during these troubling times.
