Boorowa Galong Rail Trail Development Plan

Help the Boorowa and Galong communities continue to grow and flourish through a 365-day attraction! The Boorowa Galong Rail Trail is an economically viable project that would significantly boost Boorowa, Galong, and the Hilltops Region.

Rail trails are shared-use paths built on disused railway corridors. A 27km rail trail between Boorowa and Galong has been identified as being feasible. The next step is to prepare the Rail trail Development Plan for the Committee to then rally the Government to build the trail!

The rail trail would provide a convenient all-year-round attraction for day trippers and overnight visitors to the region. In addition, infrastructure such as this will provide our locals with a new opportunity for walking, cycling, fun runs, triathlons, and half/full marathons. Accessible for everyone to use!
