Bo "Papa" Huryn Scholarship Fund

Help us help kids ball like our Papa!  As a child, our Papa was forced to flee his home ahead of an oncoming Soviet army. Living in refugee camps across Europe, Papa developed a love for playing soccer, a love that would take him to the highest levels of the sport in the U.S. (Papa was an All-American in '57 & '59) and lead him to share that love with others. For over 40 years, Papa was a dedicated parent, grandparent, coach, referee, and volunteer for New Bern area soccer

Papa also had a heartfelt love for children in need who wanted to play soccer. For years, and in typical "no fanfare" Papa fashion, Papa paid for the dues for children in New Bern to play soccer whose parent's couldn't afford them

Please join us in celebrating the life of our beloved Papa by donating to the Bo "Papa" Huryn Scholarship Fund. All donations go directly to fund dues and equipment for children in need in the New Bern, N.C. area to play soccer
