Border to Border with Love to #DefundHate

The amount of money out-of-pocket to bring this amazing event to fruition has been great.  We would appreciate any help through donations for supplies (banner, supplies for banner, etc.) Excess will provide some relief for travel expenses to carry the banner through California and after that will any excess will be donated to the Fair Fight Bond Fund.  As you are aware, Border to Border with Love to Defund Hate is an effort by Indivisible groups along the west coast to send a unifying message to their MOCs by relaying a scroll as a symbol of our standing together to show our shared humanity and demand that they defund hate.

Having a symbolic device that passes from hand to hand is simply the embodiment of that movement. It’s not the end goal: it’s the visual representation of the hundreds of individuals and groups that have come together in a long winding process of expressing shared humanity. That symbol is the banner, which everyone who participates in the event can sign and videotape the signatures.
