Born Survivor in aid of Healthier Heroes CIC

Hi my name is Louis and I am taking part in Born Survivor the 30 gruelling obstacles on a 10km mud-fuelled assault course designed by Royal Marine Commandos, Make no mistake, Born Survivor’s not your average mud run or obstacle fun day – this is the ultimate military obstacle course challenge!

You may ask why, and it's all in aid of a fantastic veteran charity Healthier Heroes CIC I have worked professionally with them for a number of years and I wanted to do something personally to help fundraise.

So what do they do Healthier Heroes CIC provides support to ex-service personnel, their families and carers who are struggling with an array of complex requirements and support, as well as members of the NHS and other blue light services. The support offered to our service users includes housing, education, employment, tackling isolation and health and wellbeing. Bancroft House offers accommodation with 21 double en-suite rooms and provides TWO move-on property, helping them transition back into the community. Whilst also providing a more comprehensive community outreach support service to veterans and their families across Lancashire.
