Boston Marathon 25 - in aid of Jasmine (Cayman)&Irish Cancer
Donation protected
Hello All
As many of my close friends and family will know, on March 19th 2024 we lost a great person, character and friend when Noel (Wocky) passed away. His battle with such a rare form of Cancer was one that none of us will be able to truly comprehend and his positive outgoing nature and cheeky sense of humour made light of the serious fight he was in.
His loss has left an impact on so many whose lives he touched, but the amazing memories and conversations/jokes shared bring smiles to anyone who was fortunate enough to be in his presence. Noel's memory lives on strong, so mid 2024 I made a commitment to get back out running (after a 12 year marathon break) with the goal to run the Boston marathon as a mark of respect to Noel in a city where he spent much of his time for treatments and he created many great memories with family and friends.
On April 21st I will run the 129th Boston marathon and felt that it was an opportunity to support those who had cared for him in his final days. All funds raised will be donated to the Jasmine Hospice in the Cayman Islands and the Irish Cancer Society.
Any and all donations will be gratefully accepted.
Many thanks
