On November 29 2018, Miller and Lori Boswell received devastating news. Miller was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer with metastasis to his liver. He received a port before Christmas and underwent his 1st round of chemo. His 2nd chemo session is today Jan 2, 2019. As expected, this is very hard on his body.
Miller is a fun-loving Husband and Daddy who is 35 years old. He loves his wife, his kids, UGA football, fishing, hunting and being around his family and friends. Anyone that knows Miller and Lori, knows that they would do anything for anyone and never ask for anything in return. They both work hard to support their 2 children, Alex (4) and Olivia (1). Due to Miller’s illness he is unable to work. Lori will be taking time off in order to take Miller to his appointments and care for him, as he has been very sick and in a lot of pain. The news has been so overwhelming, our goal is to help them to be able to focus on the tremendous fight ahead of them, and to not worry about how they are going to pay their bills.
We are all trying to remain hopeful and optimistic during this difficult time. Over the next 3 months, Miller will continue chemotherapy. At that time, he will receive another scan to evaluate the response of the cancer to the chemotherapy. Any and all donations will go towards daily living expenses, medical expenses, and any future costs that may arise due to Miller’s illness. Please know that all donations will be greatly appreciated not only by Miller and Lori, but by their entire family as well! We also ask for prayers to help them get through this. Specifically, we pray that God would touch Miller with His healing hand and give him the comfort and peace he needs to get through this.
Thank you,
Kelly Stamper and Kimberly Gibbs
