Boujee's heart ❤️

Hey everybody, my name is Samantha. I am a pet groomer/lover and I always provide the best care to my client's dogs. Unfortunately, my own fur baby needs me and I would love your support. Boujee my little toy poodle has fluid in her lungs and one of her kidneys isn't doing well. Currently she's in congestive heart failure so they want to keep her on oxygen and some meds to get her fluid out of the lungs overnight . The cardiologist will check her to get her on some meds for her heart issues.. it's not curable but can extend her life, make it more manageable, and more comfortable for little Boujee. We appreciate any donations towards her vet bills, thank you so much.

Update:

She was put on furosemide, pimobendan, and vetmedin to treat congestive heart failure and to help her heart as the disease progresses. She has heart disease, more specifically degenerative valve disease in the mitral valve. She had a sudden change or worsening because a tendon holding the valve tore off (cannot do surgery for this) and so the valve prolapsed. The prolapsed valve led to severe CHF and pulmonary edema (the fluid in her lungs) This is what led to her hospitalization because she couldn't breathe. Essentially her heart was not working right and she started to slowly drown in her own fluid.

So the meds are not only treating this but also helping relieve some stress on the heart as the disease progresses.
