Bournemouth Rugby Club Appeal
Donation protected
First and foremost, on behalf of Bournemouth Rugby we sincerely hope that you and your families are staying safe during this unprecedented period of time, managing to keep your spirits up despite lockdowns, social distancing, homeschooling and no organised sport to keep us active and entertained.
It has been several weeks since the RFU suspended all rugby in England and the early season finish has had a big impact to the Club. Like many clubs, Bournemouth Rugby relies on key events in the latter stages of the season to generate the vital income used to fund the ongoing running costs of our Club.
We need to ensure the club is ready to spring back and continue the momentum we have within our thriving sections: U6 to U16, Girls, Academy, Seniors, Community Team, Wheelchair and Touch Rugby.
With the cancellation of our Youth and Mini Festival, Match Days cancelled, Events cancelled or postponed, the club relies on this income to provide equipment, training courses and much more.
This appeal will help the Club ensure that the lost revenue will allow us to replenish back into the club and we are in a position to restart Rugby in September, or whenever the season starts again.
Perhaps you come along to 1st XV matches, why not donate your gate entry for one or two of the missed matches, or donate the cost of a pint or two at all senior matches, or post training socialising. Or perhaps the cost of a coffee you would normally buy at training or on your commute.
We have reviewed and applied for limited available Grants, however we need to generate some of the lost income.
We of course recognise that these are tough times for us all but we know our club community is dedicated to keeping the club thriving and continuing after 127 years.
On behalf of Bournemouth Rugby, thank you for reading this and considering donation to our cause.
We hope to see you at the club as soon as we can.
