Bovee Medical Expenses

Kris and Stefanie Bovee welcomed Chandler into the world on January 20th. On March 12th after many nights full of worry and anxiety, her mom knew she needed extra help and support and took her to the ER - that resulted into an ambulance ride and being admitted to U of M, where they are still today.
As Stefanie put it - Our baby girl is tough! I wish that this update was good news but in fact it's pretty awful news....Chandlers seizures are pretty bad. They originally thought were coming from one area of the brain but after five days of monitoring EEG - they found multi focal epilepsy! Chandler went into status epilepticus -!meaning one seizure occurring over and over! She is not responding to the three seizure meds she was on! So to protect her airway and brain they decided to intubate and sedate and send to icu! They planned to "reset" the brain with sedation, basically shut everything down! Chandler had other ideas! She was placed on versed for sedation and unfortunately at max she didn't respond! At that time, Kris and I prepared for the worst and were thinking she may not come home.
This family has a long road ahead of them, especially Miss Chandler. They are exploring causes and treatment options both short term and long term. Unfortunately seizures are complicated and it takes a lot of trial and error.
I would like to thank everyone that has reached out, checked on us, offered assistance! All I can say is she is one tough baby girl!
Please help support the Bovee family with their current and upcoming expenses!
