Bowling Family Emergency Fund

Hi, my name is Debbie and I'm fundraising on behalf of a friend and fellow coworker, Taylor Bowling. While visiting our campus for a team training event, her home caught fire and all of the family's belongings were lost. Thankfully, her family is safe: her kids were at school and their family cat escaped and was later found.

The home is a total loss, and most items were burned or water damaged from the fire being extinguished. Her and her kids' bedrooms took most of the damage, destroying the beds, all furniture, clothes, and toys of her 2 children, ages 8 and 10, as well as her home office and remote work peripherals.

While she has some support in the area, it does require splitting her family while they find a place to live with enough room for all of them to stay together. This has been a significant barrier to provide the necessary support for them to recover from this traumatic event. Although, insurance will cover the loss of many items in the long term, they still need help immediately with daily essentials, replacing all clothes, finding short term housing, and help to rebuild their lives.

Taylor has been a part of our work family for over a year and a wonderful person to work with that is always willing to help our team. Any assistance, no matter how small, would go a long way to help her and her family get back on their feet and recover from this terrible accident.
