The Bowling Green Fraternal Order of Police is raising funds for BGPD Officer Matt Davis. Matt started with the department as a cadet. He was hired as Officer in 2005 and began his career. Matt has served in many different roles during his career and has been an outstanding officer. Matt has also served his country as a Combat Medic in the Kentucky National Guard. He served 6 years and was deployed in 2019-2020 to the Middle East with 206th Engineer Battalion (KYARNG) as part of Operation Inherent Resolve. On 7/6/23, Matt was on patrol in Bowling Green when he was dispatched to a call on Russellville Road. Matt was shot multiple times by a suspect. Matt sustained serious physical injury and is currently fighting for his life. Matt is a father of 3 boys. Please consider donating to support him and his family.
