- If you know me you know my Boo Bear is my world. He’s been there for me through some of the hardest times of my life. Now I need to be there for him. He’s only 10 1/2 and may have had stroke. I took him to the animal ER on 10/14. He had major right sided facial droop. He can’t blink his right eye so I have to give him artificial eye drops. Basically you could compare it to Bell’s palsy in humans. But it could be something more . While he’s still energetic (for a 10 year old) and eating normally, his balance is still off and his vet does recommend a neurologist consult. I’m already $1000 into this so honestly anything will help. Even if it’s only enough to buy him some wet food to mix in a with his regular food (since he can’t fully chew on the right side) or if it’s enough to buy his eye drops it will be much appreciated
