Boxing Ring Needed for Competition
Donation protected
The Hamilton Eagles Boxing Club (HEBC) was established in 1970. Our mission is to use the discipline, structure and work ethic of boxing to build confident and positive role models and athletes in and out of the ring. We value the health, safety and education of all of our athletes.
HEBC is a non-profit organization run strictly by volunteers (certified coaches, board members and parents) and is mostly funded by local fundraising and community sponsorships. The cost per year for the athlete is around $120 which covers hand wraps and insurance. Athletes compete in tournaments all across the U.S. We raise funds so that no athlete is left behind because they can’t afford travel costs. The funds we raise as a group are spent on travel expenses, utilities, to update our safety equipment (headgear, etc.) and food which you can imagine costs a lot with growing kids!
Here is where you come in! We are in need of a new competition boxing ring. This ring allows us to put on local boxing competition fundraisers “fight nights” in the Bitterroot valley and surrounding areas. We also use this competition ring for Junior Olympics that has been held for the past few years here in Hamilton. The Junior Olympics or “JOs” brings in boxing clubs from all over Montana to compete to earn their spot in regional then national competition in their age/weight group. Our club has had several teammates qualify on both the regional and national categories in years past.
These kids work hard all year long participating in any fundraising opportunities that are brought to us, by donating for this ring, you can help them reach their goal so that they can focus on upcoming competitions.
