Boy Scout Eagle Project - Blessing Boxes

Hello, my name is Gabriel Novales. I am a Boy Scout from Troop 532. I have been involved with scouting since age 11. I am currently a Life Scout. I am working towards the Rank of Eagle which is the highest rank in the Scouting program. To achieve this rank I need to complete an Eagle Project. For my project, I plan to donate blessing boxes to 2 local churches within my local diocese. A blessing box is a box located within the church where people can give monetary donations for the betterment of the community. I am planning on building 5 blessing boxes (3 for the church I attend regularly and 2 for another church within the diocese). To complete this project I need to raise around $800 to purchase the materials such as wood, screws, hinges, handles, wood stain, etc. Once the materials have been gathered, I will lead a group of boys to complete this task. Once they are assembled and stained, I will then deliver the finished product to the parishes. No amount is too big or too small and every dollar and cent is greatly appreciated.
