Boy Scouts Refugee Welcome
Would you join the Boy Scouts to help sponsor and welcome a refugee family being resettled in Austin? Join Jackson Ghangurde, Nicholas Storrer, Cooper Baehr, and the rest of Den 4 in making this possible.
These families are leaving the most horrific of situations: famine, persecution, war, and often killed family members. There is no better way to warmly welcome them to the United States and to Austin, TX, than providing the basics to have a remotely normal life as they start this new chapter. Thanks to the Refugee Services of Texas, a registered 501(c)3, for their making this possible.
The scouts are raising money to provide specific goods and services recommended by the nonprofit. To help them reach their goal of $3,250, would you make a donation at one of these levels?
- $250: Medical care
- $100: Voucher for Bus Travel
- $50: Kids Clothing
- $25: Kids School Supplies
- $10: The Welcome Dinner
Refugee Services of Texas and Boy Scouts of America
We are members of the local Cub Scouts and we are sponsoring a displaced refugee family moving to Austin from overseas.
25 million refugees are displaced. 50% are children. Only 1% are resettled.
Can you help us with a donation to support our sponsored refugee family?
