Boyd Family's Story of Resilience and Hope

Tax deductible

Very rarely do we come across an exceptional story of an extraordinary family like the Boyds.

A family of 6, Greg and Christina, originally from West Virginia, with their 4 kids aged 16 to 11: the oldest, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Braden, and the baby of the family, Lacey.

Together they have been through a lot since COVID, including sleeping in cars and experiencing homelessness.

They came to the kitchen almost a year back with an Instacart order, and from there to the last minute when the family, through their hard work, integrity, and commitment, managed to move into an apartment in Sterling.

As the family begins their journey after 3 years of extreme and unthinkable thousands of moments of struggles back to normalcy, we thought it is a good time for the entire community to help this family's journey a little joyful and comfortable.

What makes the Boyds invincible is their desire and ability to volunteer selflessly in the kitchen and give of themselves to the community.

They have been cooking food for shelters, delivering meals, and working hard to keep the kitchen a happy place for anyone who visits.

Funds raised will be used towards rent support and helping to pay off accumulated medical bills.

This holiday season, let's all celebrate this spirit of the Boyd Family
