Boyle Musical Society - The Sound of Music

It's musical time again and we in Boyle Musical Society are again appealing to the generous community of Boyle and its surrounds for financial support for our 2024 production of the well known and much loved show 'The Sound of Music'.

Set in 1938 this beloved Rodgers & Hammerstein musical tells the story of Maria, a spirited postulant at the Nonnburg Abbey in Austria. While deciding whether or not to become a nun, Maria is sent to the home of the widowed Captain von Trapp to be governess to his seven children. During her time there Maria brings warmth, love and music back to the von Trapp home. This production is sure to captivate audiences with it's charming characters, heartwarming story and memorable songs.

We are very aware of the demands on people at the moment, but your support is vital to the success of our Show.
