Boy Scout Troop 929 Trek at Philmont Scout Ranch

Scouts BSA Troop 929 of Evanston is sending a crew of ten scouts and adults to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico this summer.

During the nine-day trek the crew will hike 44 miles, complete a conservation project and climb two back-to-back mountain peaks -- Mt. Phillips (11,736 foot) and Commanche Peak (11,303 foot).

UPDATE: The car wash fundraiser was limited to Sunday (June 2nd) only, but we were still able to raise much needed funds to cover some of our travel and equipment costs. That said, we're hoping to raise a few more dollars toward our trip expenses. If you haven't already done so, we're still accepting additional donations until June 28, 2024.
