Bethany & Pete Adoption Fund
Donation protected
We are in the process of adopting a baby! If you would like to help us across the finish line to our "gotcha day", you can contribute here and/or share this with your friends.
Right now, we have a beautiful family with loving parents, siblings and nephews. But we want our family to grow. We want to have a child of our own in our lives.
Pete and I were married in 2009, though we knew each other through church and family friendships for a lot longer. In 2012, we decided to try and become pregnant, and we were lucky that this happened pretty quickly. While the pregnancy was relatively normal, at 39 weeks our son's heart stopped. We delivered Asher two days later. This was the most devastating and heart-breaking experience of our lives. We were both so excited to become parents and meet this little guy, to get to know him. Pete and I have always worked with children, been around children with friends and family and looked forward to the day we would have our own.
It's been two years since Asher's delivery, and while we have worked to remain strong as a couple we still would very much like to have children. Because of some chronic health issues, I (Bethany) am not at a good place to be pregnant, however we do not want this to stop us from moving forward and growing our family. We are both ready and excited to meet our soon to be adopted baby.
We have nearly completed our home study through an accredited agency, and have been able to meet all fees at this point. However, adoption involves a lot of agency and legal costs. If you feel that you are able to donate any amount to help us with this process, we would be very grateful. We will also always accept any prayers!
Thank you for love and support,
Bethany and Pete
