Always There For Others

Hi, my name is Wendy and I'm trying to raise funds to help my son-in-law, Gavin Parker and his family, Jenna, Kiley 10 and Eva 5. They could really use a little help right now.

Two weeks ago, Gavin was life-flighted to Maine Med in Portland. He had been having difficulty breathing throughout the day. Unbeknownst to him, there was a Peritonsillar Abscess in his throat that resulted in swelling. By the time he got medical help, his throat was so constricted that medical staff was unable to insert a breathing tube. He needed to be sedated so that a tracheotomy could be performed. Upon arriving at Maine Med via Life-Flight, emergency surgery was needed. Gavin spent a full week in the ICU.

Although, he has been home for a week, he is unable to return to work. His doctor has informed him that he will be out for 3-5 months. Jenna is also unable to work right now as she is doing her best to care for Gavin.
