A fundraiser to help Br. Shankara

Dear friends, we have started this GoFundMe to raise money to help with Br. Shankara's out-of-pocket medical expenses.

Shankara took a fall in the monastery kitchen at the Vedanta Center (of Atlanta) on June 24th. After spending six days in the hospital and undergoing surgery for a fractured hip, he was transferred to PruittHealth Brookhaven skilled nursing facility for physical and occupational therapy. The first 20 days at Pruitt were covered by Medicare; however, going forward there is now a $ 250-a-day co-pay for necessary extended time at the facility. Let's all band together and help our dear Shankara with these expenses, as well as other expenses that will likely come up when he leaves Pruitt, so that he can focus on healing.
